Honoring Excellence: Afr!Ca Haus Brunch Celebrates Black Music Month with its Annual Star-Studded Event

In honor of Black Music Month, Afr!Ca Haus will hold its inaugural brunch in Hollywood Hills on Saturday, June 29th, at 12 PM (Pacific Time). This brunch aims to elevate, celebrate, and connect the industry’s most influential creatives and business masterminds, fostering cross-pollination and leveraging opportunities for economic prosperity in Black communities worldwide. The event is sponsored by D’usse, Armand de Brignac Champagne and Chocolate City Music.

Taking place against the electrifying backdrop of the highly anticipated BET Experience, Afr!Ca Haus unites Africans, Caribbeans, and Blacks throughout the diaspora to celebrate Black Music Month, Black culture, and Black history. This powerhouse, invite-only event will be attended by influential executives and creatives across the Creative Economy and Business Sectors, including Music, Film, TV, Fashion, Arts, Visual Arts, Gaming, Business, and Politics. Confirmed attendees include Bozoma “Boz” Saint John (Businesswoman and Marketing Executive), Angelica Nwandu (CEO, The Shade Room), Judge Greg and Linda Mathis, KDDO (History-making Afrobeats producer), Chris Attoh (Award-Winning International Actor), Marcus Lomax (VP of Grammys LA Chapter), Princess Edna Makonnen (Deputy Director of Human Capital at The White House), Hit-Boy (Grammy Award-winning producer), Sherwin Robinson (VP of Dusse), Focalistic (South African Rapper), Wale (American Rapper), Pheelz (Nigerian Producer/Singer), Precious Achiuwa (Nigerian Basketball Player), Jay Ajayi (English Football Running Back), and many more.

In addition to sponsoring the inaugural Afr!Ca Haus Brunch, Chocolate City Music is excited to announce two groundbreaking initiatives: the Founders Fund and Nutrybe Academy. 

  • Founders Fund: This creative investment fund is dedicated to supporting and empowering the next generation of entertainment entrepreneurs, with a strong emphasis on female entrepreneurs. By providing financial backing and resources, the Founders Fund aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the entertainment industry.
  • Nutrybe Academy: Serving as a comprehensive developmental resource, Nutrybe Academy focuses on nurturing upcoming talent both on the ground and behind the scenes.
