The Marías Release New Music Video for “If Only” and Announce Extensive Tour

The Marías Debut “If Only” Music Video

Grammy-nominated band The Marías have released the official music video for their song “If Only.” Directed by long-time collaborator Bethany Vargas, the cinematic video complements the band’s ballad track, featuring lead singer María’s pristine vocals set against the striking visual of her holding onto an intricate chandelier.

Sophomore Album “Submarine” Achievements

The release follows the band’s sophomore album “Submarine“, via Nice Life Recording Company/Atlantic Records, which debuted at #17 on the Billboard 200 and #4 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. The album has been well-received, continuing the band’s momentum from their critically acclaimed debut album “Cinema”.

To celebrate the release of “Submarine”, The Marías played a free surprise show for fans at the parking lot of Row DTLA in Los Angeles on June 2nd. Announced on the album’s release day (May 31), the show garnered over 45,000 RSVPs in just 36 hours. Over 6,000 fans attended, marking the band’s first live performance in nearly two years and allowing fans to experience “Submarine” live for the first time.

Successful Mexico City Run

The Marías recently completed a sold-out four-night run in Mexico City on June 11th, 12th, 14th, and 15th, where fans also enjoyed live performances from the new album. This successful run sets the stage for their highly anticipated “The Submarine Tour.”
