Corona from TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way” Shares Her Experience and Tips
In this #LiveSession, we meet Corona, a participant on “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way,” on TLC, and had the pleasure of discussing, with this free spirit, her fascinating journey from Pennsylvania to Iceland for love. Corona, a midwife student and birth industry professional, shared her experiences and insights, particularly about moving to Iceland to be with her partner, Ingi. Naturally, we got into the cultural education that occurred with the move which resulted in quite the laugh! The Role and Misconceptions of Midwives
Her profession hit home with me so our conversation began with a deep dive into Corona’s background as a birth industry professional and midwife student. We discussed the benefits and challenges of midwifery, shedding light on the often misunderstood practice. Corona eloquently addressed the misconceptions surrounding VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), providing valuable information for expectant parents considering this option. Her expertise and passion for her work were evident throughout our discussion and she gives us insight on the topic as a subject matter expert.
Navigating Cultural Differences in Romance
Transitioning to her personal life, Corona and I explored the cultural differences in romantic relationships, especially within the Icelandic context. We tapped into the unique challenges posed by dating dynamics in a new country. Corona carefully shared candid personal experiences (no spoilers), highlighting the adjustments required when moving from Pennsylvania to Iceland.
