28.Gz’s Breakout Season: From Sync Deals to Summer Anthems

28.Gz is quickly emerging as a standout talent in the music scene, beyond his established native city, New Jersey. Known for his lyrical storytelling and infectious beats, has been steadily building his career since 2020. But it was 2023 that marked a significant turning point for the rising artist. After releasing his well-received album “NS2 in June of last year, Geez scored a major milestone—securing a coveted sync placement with United Masters, thanks to the efforts of A&R Ahmad Davis and his publicist, Mike DeBlasio.
The momentum from the project and UM sync deal gave 28.Gz the perfect launchpad to deliver a hot streak of new music throughout the summer of 2024. Fans were treated to four standout tracks: “Never Land,” “Nice Vibe,” “Jhonny Boy,” and “Differently“—each showing different facets of Geez’s style and growth as an artist.
The summer kicked off in June with “Never Land,” a track produced by TyMayde. Their chemistry is undeniable, and it shines through in the track’s production and vibe.
Soon after, Geez followed up with two more incredible records— “Nice Vibe” and “Jhonny Boy,” produced by VY, a fresh new collaborator. VY’s influence on both tracks brought a unique energy, blending effortlessly with Geez’s vision.

All four records were engineered by FerryonBoards, a dope engineer from Brooklyn who made it all come to life! I met him through my homie Frank Stoney,” Geez explained, acknowledging the talent and teamwork behind his releases.
The final release of the summer, “Differently,” arrived in early September. The title speaks volumes—as he continues to carve out his own lane, along with his sound evolving in ways that set him apart from the crowd. With its bold production and confident delivery, “Differently” is a testament to Geez’s growth as an artist and a preview of what’s to come.
With these four summer releases in heavy rotation, 28.Gz is already looking ahead to 2025, having announced a project slated for the first quarter of the year. If his summer streak is any indication, Geez is poised to make even bigger moves in the months to come.
For now, fans can continue to stream 28.Gz on their preferred platform and stay tuned for more.
