Los Angeles Rams Team Up with Top Dawg Entertainment and Jay Rock For New Anthem “Rams That Way”

The Los Angeles Rams announced an exciting collaboration with Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) and renowned Los Angeles rapper Jay Rock on Monday (Jan. 23). In electrifying fashion, Jay Rock has reimagined his hit single “Still That Way” into a rousing anthem for the Rams, titled “Rams That Way,” which debuted as the team’s official tunnel entrance video at their first home game of the season at SoFi Stadium on Sunday. Rock gave a surprise perform of the track, which set the tone for a spectacular win for the Rams who walked away with a 27-24 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

The thrilling new video will play before every home game during The Royal Tour 2024 season, igniting the crowd and setting the stage for the Rams as they charge onto the field. Grammy Award-winning Jay Rock, who was raised in Watts, previously worked together with the Rams during a performance presented by Pepsi to “open” SoFi Stadium in 2020 and has graced the stage at several Rams games performing his hit song, “Win,” among other tracks. He expressed his excitement about the project:

“When I get a call like this, it’s a privilege I won’t pass up,” said Jay Rock. “Proud to represent my city! Much love to my LA Rams family for having me!”

The Rams’ collaboration with TDE and Jay Rock reinforces the team’s dedication to highlighting local talent and creating unforgettable experiences for fans. The new entrance video blends Jay Rock’s signature style with the high energy of Rams football, showcasing the team’s focus on delivering unparalleled entertainment.

“We are ecstatic to team up with Jay Rock and Top Dawg Entertainment to elevate gamedays at the Rams House,” said Los Angeles Rams Chief Marketing Officer Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick.
“This collaboration not only celebrates our commitment to local culture, but also is the perfect anthem to energize our fans and create the best environment for our players in their quest to bring a championship back to Los Angeles.”
In addition to Jay Rock’s performance, the highly anticipated game also saw performances from legendary hip-hop group Naughty By Nature, LA R&B singer Rosemarie, guitarist Nita Strauss, and the Mariachi Rams.
The Rams have worked to provide memorable gameday experiences both on and off the field for fans, with previous performances including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ice Cube and O’Shea Jackson, Warren G and Montell Jordan, One Republic, the Chainsmokers, Deorro, and Ozzy Osbourne featuring Jeff Beck and Andrew Watt.
