About RetroBlakesberg: The Music Never Stopped
RetroBlakesberg highlights over 150 stunning film photographs of iconic artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Björk, Tracy Chapman, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Nirvana, Radiohead, Tom Waits, and Neil Young.
The exhibit also features:
- 20 unique “blue” portraits of musicians including Green Day, Ice-T, The Flaming Lips, and Joni Mitchell, created by intentionally using the “wrong film” in unusual lighting conditions.
- A dedicated exploration of the Grateful Dead and their vibrant psychedelic scene, a central theme of Blakesberg’s work and his legacy as a devoted “Dead Head.”
