Wale & His Management Company EQT Returns to D.C. with ‘Gifted Week’

Wale and his management team EQT are excited to announce Gifted Week, a week-long series of community events celebrating the culture of the DMV from November 10-17, 2024. The event series caps off his 32-city Every Blue Moon Tour, leading up to his sold-out show at Maryland’s MGM on November 15, 2024. This time last year, Wale marked the 10th anniversary of The Gifted with a special performance at D.C.’s iconic Kennedy Center, where he received an official proclamation from D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, declaring November 10th as “Wale Day”. For this year’s Wale Day, the rapper wanted to go even bigger, saying he “wanted to do something special for home, to unite the next generation of artists and athletes.”

Gifted Week features an exciting lineup of events, including a Sneaker Design Workshop with Nike, a Youth Football Clinic with the Washington Commanders, an open mic poetry jam, a panel discussing the connection between music and sports, and more across the D.C. metro area. The week also aligns with D.C.’s GoGo Appreciation Week, a celebration of the city’s unique music scene and its efforts to support the local sound.
