The Reloaded Album Marks the Exciting Return of GXTP to the Music Scene

Rock band GXTP (Guns and Toilet Paper) has made a resurgence onto the music scene with their second album, Reloaded. The album features several exciting collaborations from Sueco, Killer Mike, Santana, Faris Zahid, and David Bryan, all joining together to transform the rock genre.

GXTP: Irony, Humor, and Quality Music

GXTP has quickly become known for its brand of ironic humor, boasting a name with origins in the 2020 pandemic. The acronym refers to the two products that were panic-bought by consumers during the chaotic period, directly commenting on societal issues. One of their newest tracks, “Te’Kill’Ya,” uses the well-known pun on tequila to comment on the spirit of their music.

GXTP is made up of three members, including Jason Paul, Sasha Sirota, and Triple Sixx, who combine their distinct approaches to music into a dynamic band poised to continue making waves in the industry. Their first album, Smoke & Mirrors, already garnered widespread attention from the music community, and the singles comprising the journey to Reloaded have been compelling.

“My Devil at Home ft. Sueco”, released in June, and “Couldn’t Keep the Faith ft. Faris Zahid,” released in September, built anticipation for GXTP’s imminent return to the music scene. The band also released a “My Devil At Home” music video in late August, adding visual flair to the song’s already cinematic narrative.

“Te’Kill’Ya” Presents Something New

Reloaded is driven by its “Te’Kill’Ya” track, which features Killer Mike and Santana. The album is centered on the blending of several genres, but “Te’Kill’Ya” truly stands out. In terms of both rhythm and lyricism, the track masterfully integrates the style of every artist involved to fashion something new.

GXTP’s Sasha Sirota had this to say about the band’s collaboration on “Te’Kill’Ya”: “Working alongside legends like Santana and Killer Mike is beyond a dream come true. This track exemplifies the daring and boundary-pushing essence of our musical journey.”

What to Expect From Reloaded

The Reloaded album features eleven tracks filled with boundary-pushing lyrics and a blended genre, perfect for a wide audience of listeners. The full tracklist is as follows:

  1. “A Dish Served Cold”
  2. “My Devil at Home ft. Sueco”
  3. “THRIDAY”
  4. “Te’Kill’Ya ft. Killer Mike & Santana”

  7. “One Race ft. David Bryan”
  8. “Brothers Till the End”

Reloaded is intended to be a commentary on rock traditions and the human experience, making full use of genre and lyricism to shift perspectives and to entertain. GXTP is determined to create new narratives in the rock genre by taking the audience on a musical journey that redefines convention and results in groundbreaking experiences. GXTP set the stage for this sonic journey in intro to the album with “A Dish Served Cold”. This record draws in the listeners with a heavy rock guitars and their signature dueling vocals.

A Promising Path Forward for GXTP

GXTP will continue to create music that reaches audiences in new ways, developing new listening experiences alongside collaborators and within their own musical microcosm. Their spirit of ingenuity has carried over from Smoke & Mirrors into Reloaded and promises to evolve further with their unique style.
