Global bachata superstar Prince Royce is back with a bold new project. His upcoming album, ETERNO, slated for release on May 16, reimagines beloved pop classics through the lens of modern bachata. Now available for pre-order and pre-save here, the album promises to be a genre-bending tribute to timeless music, wrapped in Royce’s signature style.

A Concept Album with Heart and History
ETERNO, Prince Royce’s eighth studio album, blends nostalgic melodies with contemporary arrangements and touches of Spanglish. With 13 tracks in total, the album draws inspiration from Royce’s breakout 2009 hit “Stand By Me,” which itself was a successful bachata cover of the Ben E. King classic.
“I’ve always loved the classics — the songs that never go out of style and bring back powerful memories. With ETERNO, I wanted to honor those timeless tracks and give them new life in the rhythm of bachata, a genre that’s part of my soul,” Royce said. “This album is a tribute to music that has stood the test of time, reimagined through my own style, voice, and roots.”

Royce gave fans a taste of ETERNO earlier this year during his Premio Lo Nuestro performance. He delivered a stunning three-song medley, including “My Girl,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” and “Dancing in the Moonlight”—transforming tracks originally by The Temptations, Bee Gees, and King Harvest into smooth bachata anthems.
