Produced by T-Nyce and written by Ashun, the record’s updated interpretation was brought to Kandi Burruss, who tapped into her original Xscape roots and enlisted longtime collaborator Jonathan “Jay-O” Henry and vocal producer Brandin Jay to create a lush, harmony-rich version built for today’s R&B fan.
