Inspired by the 13th chapter of First Corinthians, a passage read weekly by her influential father during Sunday worship services, Bishop Dr Dennis B Evans Jr the founder of RCC located in the beautiful city of Altadena that Archduchess currently pastors becoming her mother’s successor. The quest for true agape love may appear to be a Sisyphean but she stays the course in this caliginous world as she aspires to be the light that cancels out the darkness. Joining her in the celebration is Brian Laskey, a longtime family friend and trusted collaborator who previously worked with her on the poignant “Loving Hands.” Their voices blend in perfect harmony— her strong, soaring vocals effortlessly intertwining with his silky-smooth delivery, creating a wave of reassurance that “God’s love can never be turned off.” More than just a celebration of God’s love, “Agape Love” is a timely call to embrace life with gratitude over jealousy and resentment. “Love life on life’s terms,” Archduchess says. How do your years of experience behind the scenes in the music industry influence your artistry today? Did you learn a lot during that time?
It prepared me in the dos and don’ts of the music industry as well as helped in the realization of the world’s awareness of what truly transpires outside of the frame
“Agape Love” is certainly an earworm—what is your writing and production process like when creating a new song?
We’re fully enthralled with our God breathed hooks and in tune with the rhythm of the track’s conveyance of what the lyrics should be

They’re vitally important I’m always big on visuals and the correlation between the lyrics, the music and video content
Can you tell us a little about your mother, Mother Dorothy Evans, and how she inspires your artistry?
A little, and my Mom doesn’t even correlate. My Mother is the most instrumental woman that I’ve ever encountered. I remember putting her on the phone with Missy, and in less than two minutes, she was in tears and requesting to continue a further detailed relationship as with many others from Stevie Wonder, El Debarge, Macy Gray, and the list goes on. She was truly a Mother Of Many
How does “Agape Love” showcase your evolution as an artist thus far? Does this mark a new chapter for you?
Every single one has elevated my levels of sincerity for my craft. But Agape Love was the most fun to record, as well as create the music video for my other releases are deeper and sultry
