Offset Makes Triumphant Summer Return With New Single “Bodies” Featuring J.I.D

GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum superstar Offset is back with a summer anthem: “Bodies” featuring fellow Atlanta standout J.I.D, out now via Motown Records. Produced by Vinylz and FNZ, the track reimagines the iconic 2001 Drowning Pool hit, blending haunting choirs and dark piano lines with Offset’s razor-sharp flow. Listen [HERE].
Accompanied by a surreal, high-fashion visual directed by Offset himself (edited by Mikey Rare and styled by SheShe Pendleton).
“‘Bodies’ is about standing tall, embracing where you come from, and staying confident through adversity. I’ve been evolving — I don’t fit in any box as an artist,” Offset shares. “J.I.D. brought exactly the energy I needed for this record. We’re just getting started — stay tuned.”
On “Bodies”, Offset delivers lines about his destiny and choices (“I got choices this shit look like crayons … I fold a million dollars in two pockets”), while J.I.D. contributes a dynamic, razor-sharp verse that elevates the track’s intensity. The video, shot in LA, is as striking as the song — Offset leads a desert runway of models and a candlelit choir, with J.I.D. rapping beneath the shadow of a grim reaper. The imagery is powerful: Offset claims his crown from cult-like followers while seated on a throne.
“Bodies” follows Offset’s recent releases, including his Valentine’s Day drop “TEN”, his Hot Ones return, and late-2024 offerings: the Juice WRLD collab “Celebration” and solo single “Swing My Way” (video co-starring Anok Yai, directed by Kid Art).
