Ilan Bluestone Announces New Album ‘Ignite’, to be released on Anjunabeats

It’s ilan Bluestone’s honesty—both in his music and his personality—that has solidified his place as a fixture in the dance and trance scene for over a decade. A mainstay on Anjunabeats, ilan was ahead of the curve, sharing Anthem Testpreviews on Instagram long before social media became a key tool for artists. His raw, late-night studio clips gave fans a genuine look at life as a producer, DJ, and musician in the modern era — a transparency reflected in his signature euphoric, high-energy sound.
From Madison Square Garden to Tomorrowland, Creamfields to EDC, ilan’s melodic anthems have captivated massive crowds worldwide. His albums have always offered a glimpse into his state of mind: 2018’s Scars paid tribute to the influences that shaped him, while 2021’s Impulse captured the pulse of post-pandemic club life.
Now, ilan completes the trilogy with Ignite — a powerful story of rebirth after burnout. “Touring ‘Impulse’ after the pandemic was amazing,” ilan shares. “But by November 2023, I’d played 70 shows in just over a year. The constant travel took its toll. I had to step back, recharge in the studio, explore new sounds, and work with fresh collaborators.”
Set for release this August on Anjunabeats, Ignite is ilan’s most diverse album yet: 15 tracks blending 80s synthwave, cinematic ballads, melodic progressive house, new-age electronica, and of course, the uplifting trance that defines his live sets.
“There are darker moments on there, but ultimately Ignite is about the emotions and experiences that spark us into life. Writing these records felt like a weight off my shoulders. I hope they inspire others to face and overcome their own challenges.”
The album highlights ilan’s passion for string orchestration, especially on the opener “40” with composer Jasper Blunk. The title track, “Ignite” — out now — is a thrilling collaboration with longtime partners Maor Levi and Giuseppe De Luca, marking their first time all on the same record. Giuseppe’s voice features across the album, alongside contributions from EL Waves, Gid Sedgwick, Ellen Smith, and fresh new voices joining ilan’s journey.
Ignite is available for pre-order on vinyl via the Anjuna Music Store. A reinvigorated ilan Bluestone is set to return to the stage with his Ignite tour kicking off this weekend in Prague.
Stay tuned for more tour dates and prepare to experience Ignite live.
