Black Independence Day: Africa and Afrodescendants Unite

On Friday, July 4th, history will be made as global leaders, thinkers, freedom fighters, and Afrodescendants from across the world gather for Black Independence Day: Africa and Afrodescendants Unite—a transformative event signaling the rise of a unified global movement for Black justice, sovereignty, and liberation.
This isn’t just another commemoration—it’s a turning point in our collective story.
From the shores of West Africa to the streets of the Americas, this gathering bridges generations, nations, and ideologies to present one bold, unified declaration: the end of economic slavery, inequitable trade, political disenfranchisement, and systemic oppression in all its forms.
“We are not here to debate, but to build a future,” says Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz, one of the featured leaders and an organizer of Black Independence Day, which stands proudly among the vanguard of this movement.
Global Movement. Historic Assembly. Unified Purpose.
This unprecedented event brings together over 40 prominent visionaries and revolutionaries, including:
- PLO Lumumba
- Malik Zulu Shabazz
- Kemi Seba
- Julius Malema (invited)
- HRM Queen Shanta Lana Hereford
- And many more global voices of liberation and resistance
This assembly does not exist for optics or applause. It is a working summit—a coordinated mobilization to build real systems of self-determination, education, trade equity, and cultural empowerment for Africa and her descendants around the world.
