Inét Entertainment Brings Healing and Harmony to Boston with H.O.I. Family Music and Arts Festival
The nonprofit’s decades-long mission of empowering mental health through the arts takes center stage at Almont Park on July 26 with live jazz, mental health resources, and community celebration.

For decades, Inét Entertainment has been a driving force in shaping Greater Boston’s cultural identity, blending music, arts, and empowerment to create opportunities for inner-city youth and families. This summer, the nonprofit organization once again proves why its legacy matters—not just to Boston, but to communities nationwide—with the H.O.I. Family Music & Arts Festival on Saturday, July 26, at Almont Park in Mattapan, MA.
Now in its third year, this free, all-ages festival isn’t your average summer event. It’s a cultural experience where healing meets harmony, bridging the gap between entertainment and emotional well-being. With a powerful theme, “Mental Health Awareness: Healing Our Community,” the festival’s mission is clear: uplift spirits, break stigmas, and provide families with tools to thrive.
Inét Entertainment: Decades of Purpose-Driven Programming
Founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Inét Entertainment Corporation has long championed youth empowerment through the performing arts. From offering music education and mentorship programs to producing cultural showcases that celebrate diversity, the organization has created pathways for creative expression and personal growth.
Its impact extends beyond Boston. Through national initiatives, partnerships, and media platforms like the House of Inspiration Radio Network, Inét Entertainment amplifies voices that inspire, entertain, and educate audiences across the globe. The H.O.I. Family Festival is a testament to this vision—a space where art becomes a vehicle for healing and hope.
What to Expect: Music, Wellness, and Community Vibes
Headlining this year’s main stage is internationally acclaimed jazz saxophonist Elan Trotman, a Berklee alum celebrated for his vibrant blend of smooth jazz and Caribbean rhythms. Joining him is Dr. Sunshine, an award-winning speaker, author, and vocalist known for her faith-based approach to emotional and spiritual wellness. Her keynote will focus on tools for navigating grief, managing stress, and breaking cycles of generational trauma.
Other festival highlights include:
Live Performances: From Elan Trotman to rising local talent.
Mental Health Resources: “Resource Row” connects attendees with wellness, education, and community support services.
Lemme Do My Thang Sang Off: A national vocal competition for artists 50+—with a $1,000 prize and a live main stage performance.
Kids Zone: Puppet shows, games, and activities for the little ones.
Vendor Village: Black-owned businesses, food vendors, and cultural crafts.
Why This Festival Matters
Mental health awareness remains a pressing need in urban communities. By pairing live music with access to mental health resources, the H.O.I. Family Festival creates a safe, joyful environment where conversations about healing feel natural—not clinical. It’s this intersection of art and advocacy that sets Inét Entertainment apart as a cultural innovator and community advocate.
As Monét “Angel Monét” Ledbetter-Glaude, festival founder and powerhouse producer, explains, “Each year, this festival grows in purpose and in heart. We’re honored to welcome Elan Trotman and Dr. Sunshine to help us pour into our community—through music, through healing, and through the power of showing up for one another.”
