Ariel Fitzpatrick Announces “Shadow” Ahead of October Album

Montreal gospel phenom readies a faith-forward single via Motown Gospel; social audience tops 2 million.

A new single with a clear message

MONTREAL — Sept. 26, 2025. Rising gospel artist and content creator Ariel Fitzpatrick will release “Shadow” on all digital platforms via Motown Gospel. The deeply personal track centers on refuge and protection—taking listeners under the wing, presence and “shadow” of God—while pairing her faith-driven storytelling with contemporary production that resonates across generations.

Building on a growing catalog

“Shadow” follows two stylistically distinct singles: “Angels,” a gentle reminder of God’s love and protection with an early-2000s R&B touch, and “Under the Sun,” a vibrant, Caribbean-inspired cut rooted in Romans 1:20 and informed by Fitzpatrick’s reggae influences. Together, the releases frame an artist intent on fusing inspirational lyrics with modern, memorable melodies. An October album is set to follow.

From church stages to millions online

Born and raised in Montreal, Fitzpatrick is a singer, songwriter and content creator whose skits and music content on TikTok and Instagram helped her surpass 2 million followers in under a year. She has sung since age four and performed in church alongside her sister Elasah as the Fitz-Patrick Sisters, sharing music in Toronto, New Jersey and across Cree First Nation communities in Northern Quebec, including Mistissini, Waswanipi, Chisasibi and Oujé-Bougoumou.

What to expect next

With a distinctive voice, uplifting pen and growing digital reach, Fitzpatrick is emerging as one of gospel’s most promising new artists. “Shadow” sets the tone for a broader body of work arriving in October, signaling a season of releases designed to uplift, inspire and connect.
