How did growing up in northern South Carolina shape you as an artist?
I don’t think living in South Carolina affected my music too much. With the internet, I think I would’ve gravitated towards the same music anyway.
You’re legally blind but hands-on with your music. What does the creative process mean to you?
I mostly record on my microphone( this isn’t really affected by my eyesight). I also play piano by ear.
How does your faith guide you in your career?
I believe that my music skills are a gift from God.
With music on both sides of your family, when did you realize this was your path too?
My parents always told me that I would be a good musician. I started taking it seriously around middle school.
“Firecracker” feels like a shift from your hip-hop roots. What made you want to try something new?
I always liked that style of music and decided that I wanted to try it out.

Yes.

Good, felt like when you complete a school project and everything is done perfectly.

I just tried it and pay attention to the feedback.
