Global Afrobeats icon Davido released the official music video for “B4 B4” with fellow Nigerian artists Mayorkun and Fola. A standout record from Davido’s new album, ORIADÉ, the video captures the brotherhood between three of Nigeria’s most exciting hitmakers, bringing the infectious anthem to life through a vibrant tribute to Nigerian culture, artistry, and community.

Shot in Lagos by Nouvelle Films, the “B4 B4” music video is a celebration of Nigerian heritage. As the visual unfolds, Mayorkun and Fola join Davido across a series of scenes spotlighting Nigerian culture, craftsmanship, and tradition. One of the scenes sees Davido, Mayorkun and Fola surrounded by intricately hung Adire textiles, paying homage to the Nigerian art form renowned for its indigo dye and resist methods that create its signature blue and white patterns. Davido’s blue and white Louis Vuitton look is a nod to Adire fabrics, connecting global fashion and African artistry. Throughout the visual, he also incorporates traditional accessories, including a fila hat and a kofi cap.
With the “B4 B4” music video, Davido continues to expand the world of ORIADÉ, transforming one of the album’s most infectious collaborations into a cinematic celebration of Nigerian excellence. By centering local artistry, from the visual’s Lagos setting and creative team to its traditional textiles, ceremonial imagery, and fashion, the video honors the culture that continues to shape Davido’s music.
Released last week, ORIADÉ marks a defining moment in Davido’s career as he celebrates 15 years in music as a pioneering Afrobeats artist. Derived from the Yoruba words Ori (head, destiny) and Adé (crown), the album reflects themes of purpose, growth, gratitude, legacy, and stepping fully into one’s calling.
