It’s “Easy” to Love Demetria McKinney and her Music

The Multi-faceted singer and actress, Demetria McKinney (@demimckinney), drops her sexy new single, “Easy”. The sultry track is available now on iTunes. “Easy”, which was co-written by Demetria McKinney, Courtlin Jabrae and Devin Horton, is the first single from her forthcoming album, Officially Yours, set to drop this Spring.

“‘Easy’ is about a woman who wants the best for herself in her relationship,” says McKinney. “As women, we just want our men to do right by us. It’s easy.” While McKinney is widely known for her role as Janine Payne on the hit TBS sitcom Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, (which has taped over 254 episodes and received five NAACP Image Awards for Best Sitcom), she is equally talented with her music.

Over the past several years, McKinney has recorded and performed with artists such as Lyfe Jennings, Musiq Soulchild and Anthony David. Demetria has also toured with R. Kelly and the Pepsi Funkfest. To continue, she will be featured on BET’s upcoming show, “The Quad,” premiering this January after finishing her current role on, Love Jones, The Musical tour.
