Top 25 artists and songs on the internet according to Digital Radio Tracker

The Hype Magazine is proud to partner with DigitalRadioTracker.com (@DRTRadioTracker), also known as DRT, the premier radio airplay broadcast monitoring service that tracks radio airplay of songs in the US and worldwide on more than 5000+ radio stations. These stations include Major FM Terrestrial, College, Commercial and Non-Commercial as well as thousands of streaming Internet radio stations. DRT has customized a technology that monitors radio airplay detections of songs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year without any special encoding or fingerprinting required. Their database logs songs that are played by every station DRT monitors. DigitalRadioTracker.com then compiles the data and produces a DRT Report which allows anyone to receive airplay detection information about a song.

Each week, The Hype Magazine will bring you an excerpt of the Top 125 indie chart from DRT, compiled for us by our content partners DRT. At the end of the year, our “Official Hype 2.0” interview series will be based on the “Top 50” independent artist of the year as logged by DRT.
