A Look At Astral Tequila’s New “Two-One-Two” Cocktail At New York Hotspot “Charlie Bird”

Astral Tequila is a blanco tequila founded by Master Sommelier Richard Betts. Astral has been awarded the New York Times’ highest rating, a Double Gold Medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. In addition, Astral has been named as one of the “Top 10 Blanco Tequilas” by Food & Wine Magazine. The brand also holds the distinction of being publicly endorsed by Jonathan Goldsmith, who you ought to recognize as the original “Most Interesting Man In The World.”

New York City hotspot Charlie Bird recently unveiled a new cocktail, as helmed in collaboration with Astral Tequila, called the “Two-One-Two.” Named for the original area code of Manhattan, this refreshing cocktail only requires 4 easy-to-find ingredients:
– Astral Tequila
– Aperol Spritz
– Grapefruit Soda
– Garnish with an orange peel

“The ‘Two-One-Two’ is an amazing bridge cocktail,” began Natasha Sofia, Senior Manager for Brand Advocacy & Education at Davos Brands. “It’s bringing a Paloma and an aperol spritz together. Giving the opportunity to the skeptical to venture out of their comfort zone into this delicious cocktail.”

To Ms. Sofia, the flavor of the “Two-One-Two” is a multi-faceted concept. “Using Aperol make all the sense, its bold citrus and sweet bitterness adds another dimension of flavor that highlights this cocktail perfectly.” About the tequila used to prepare the cocktail itself, she concluded: “Astral Tequila, being at the historical proof of tequila has a good stage to shine on the ‘Two-One-Two!”
