BiG HEATH Releases Video for Newest Hit ‘Plan’

Nas, DJ Semtex, and Rag ‘n’ Bone man championed UK rapper, BiG HEATH released the video for his new track “Plan.” Directed by Henry Smith alongside BiG HEATH himself, the music video for ‘Plan’ was shot in East Ham Working Men’s Club.

Produced by Show N Prove (J Hus, Stefflon Don, Giggs) and lifted from his forthcoming debut EP, Lonely (due out November this year), Plan is a statement of intent, continuing to set BiG HEATH’s own tone in the UK Rap scene:

I wrote “Plan” in the hotel room after doing a session that didn’t work out too well.” Says BiG HEATH. “I was pissed off and wanted to put my point across that I’m here to change the game, despite being a fat white rapper from Cambridge. Being myself is my only plan.

When he opened Wireless Festival this year, it was legendary! He shut it down harddd! This guy is a beast on the mic, this guy is a beast live on stage.” DJ SEMTEX

Plan follows the release of BiG HEATH’s acclaimed first single Switch Sides featuring Geko, which was championed by a wealth of tastemakers, (from MistaJam, Toddla T, Charlie Sloth, Semtex and DJ Target), and has garnered support from the likes of BBC 1Xtra, Radio 1, GRM Daily and Link UP.

A rapper hailing not from an inner city, but rather the quiet suburbia of Cambridge, BiG HEATH is not only comfortable with being different, but he embraces it, delivering rhymes that veer from the well-trodden ground of the ‘road’.

Having first started rapping at the age of 10 – when he realized it helped him overcome his stutter – BiG HEATH got his first break as an artist in 2017 when he was booked for notable support slots with Nas and Freddie Gibbs. It was his live performance at Nas’ show in Liverpool that caught the attention of DJ Semtex, and by early 2018, BiG HEATH’s self-released single ‘SWiTCH SiDES’ was on heavy rotation at BBC 1Xtra. Plaudits from the likes of Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and Tinie Tempah followed, with critics earmarking him as the “next one up” who is showcasing a different side to the UK Rap scene.

RELEASED VIA POLYDOR RECORDS, PLAN IS AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD AND STREAM NOW ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS: https://open.spotify.com/album/5YbURkAB3vRcNh10MqgZwF
