Goodbye Honolulu Share New Single “Take You Dancing”

Toronto’s Goodbye Honolulu share new single “Take You Dancing”, ahead of their upcoming record More Honey, due out on November 9th via Fried Records.

“It’s a track about wanting what you can’t have, trying to do something even when you know it doesn’t come naturally to you, ‘Take You Dancing’ is about wanting to be the best you can be so maybe you can be good enough for someone else… and also dancing.” – Jacob Switzer (Goodbye Honolulu)

Goodbye Honolulu might be one of the most well connected bands you haven’t heard…. yet. They’ve toured the USA twice with Hinds, Selena Gomez is a fan, they just released a single on Burger Records, they’ve also toured with Kate Nash, SWMRS, Miya Follick, Together Pangea and their live show is a rambunctious ball of energy with each member switching instruments and sharing vocal duties, making the crowd dance and sweat to Goodbye Honolulu’s catchy slacker vibes rock n roll.

More Honey is the follow up to 2017’s No Honey. The two EPs were recorded in Toronto with producer Mike Turner (Our Lady Peace) over a 12 month time period. Finding time to sneak into the studio between everyone’s busy schedules. These recordings are a capture of the energy of Goodbye Honolulu’s stage show and a permanent memory of what it’s like to be an early 20-something still into rock n roll in 2018.
