14-Year Old Toronto-Based Hip-Hop Artist Preston Drops His New Single “About To Go Off”

Young Canadian hip-hop artist/producer Preston releases new single, a blend of rap and hip-hop, “About To Go Off”.

The track was written by Preston himself and produced by Lux Ray Beats. Preston challenges the haters in the track, claiming that they will not be able to stop him and serving as a somewhat warning sign to those who did not believe in him. “About To Go Off” is a motivating anthem that showcases Preston’s drive to succeed, as he raps on the track “ I will not stop it until I blow minds.”

Preston, born Preston Senst, grew up in Rosedale, Toronto. His father is Canadian and his mother is American, giving Preston dual citizenship to two of the best countries in the world for pursuing hip-hop. His love for music started when he began writing his own raps at only 8 years old. Now, at only 14, Preston is already a talented artist, as he writes, raps, and produces his own music.

Preston is currently working with Mentor Clive Daniel, who has helped him in developing his writing ability. He has been working hard on his first five-song EP, Preston Vol. 1. Along with vigorous production work, Preston attends one of Canada’s most prestigious private schools and is ranked as one of the top basketball players in Canada in his graduating class of 2023. He has performed at high school events, charity galas, and malls.

An artist and visionary, Preston has high aspirations and a variety of goals. Along with music and basketball, he is now developing his merchandise line “DARK VALLEY.” He has traveled the world, and many of these travels have been creative fodder for his raps. He has also reached young audiences from Canada, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and France.
