Bayside Releases New Live Video “Sick Sick Sick (Acoustic)”

Bayside has shared a brand new live video for their song “Sick Sick Sick (Acoustic),” from their latest release Acoustic Volume 2. “Sick Sick Sick” is a stripped-down take on the band’s 2011 hit single and showcases a softer side to the typically fast-paced punk track. The video was shot at Common Room Roasters in Newport Beach with a small group of Bayside fans. In order to watch, please visit: smarturl.it/sicksicksicklive.

Bayside released Acoustic Volume 2 this past September via Hopeless Records. It is a collection of re-imagined songs from across the band’s discography, as well as one brand new track. The album secured the #4 spot on the Current Alternative chart, as well as #7 Record Label Independent, #8 on both Top Current Rock and LP Vinyl, and #14 Current Digital, among others. It has also been heralded online and in print by Billboard, Newsday, Forbes, Paste Magazine, Spotify’s Punk Unplugged Playlist, and more. Additionally, the album can be streamed on Spotify and Apple Music, or purchased online at baysidebayside.com.

Bayside is currently celebrating the release with their first ever full-band acoustic tour. The shows feature an entire set of completely reimagined songs, as well as special guest Golds, and offer fans an incredibly special and intimate evening. The two-part tour kicked off last month in Chicago, with additional stops in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Orlando, Houston, Los Angeles, and more. Tickets and VIP packages can be purchased online at BaysideBayside.com.

Acoustic Volume 2 was crafted in Franklin, Tennessee with Jon Howard, a musician and producer who has also worked with Paramore, Dashboard Confessional, and New Found Glory. Howard is part of a hyper local community outside of Nashville that includes members of those bands, as well as Yellowcard, Saves The Day, Grammy winning producer Nick Raskulinecz, and Raneri, as among others.

It was liberating for Anthony Raneri (vocals), Jack O’Shea (lead guitar), Nick Ghanbarian (bass), and Chris Guglielmo (drums) to tear down the walls. It was as though the songs had just been written for the first time, and could be played any way they wanted.

Bayside serves up a confident reminder of their firmly established place in the rock music landscape in every note of the vibrant Acoustic Volume 2. It is a record that conjures the spirit of classic performances like Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged or The Cure’s most adventurous outings. It’s evident – from all of the lyrics tattooed on fans, the cover versions as well as tributes that permeate YouTube, and the obsessive supporters worldwide – why Bayside continues to thrive on the strength of these very songs.

Bayside’s Acoustic Volume 2 is out now and available for purchase at baysidebayside.com.
