sobhhï Unveils New Color-themed EP: BLACK I

sobhhï has emerged as one of the more promising alt-R&B artists in 2019, standing out in a crowded field with his gorgeous vocals and signature Trapsoul Nocturnal production. The Dubai-born, California-based songwriter grabbed our attention with his impressive single, facts up, where he blended a dialect of Arabic and English seamlessly on wax. Today, sobhhï has released a full 4-track EP, BLACK I, which includes facts up, as well as new tracks: sometimes, 4am in riyadh and pust caf.

“I wanted to create an experience of night time and nocturnalism through the music; to experience something moving, extremely visceral; romantic, sensual, and dangerous… I would consider the BLACK series of EPs to be my most essential work, this is only the introduction” – remarks sobhhï

sobhhï has also unveiled his own label – NUIT SANS FIN – which means “night without end”. Details about the new label are sparse but it will surely play a significant role as sobhhï’s career progresses.
