CLEO TV’s ‘Just Eats With Chef JJ’ and ‘New Soul Kitchen’ Return with the Late Night Spice and Comfort Food

Actress Javicia Leslie (God Friended Me) and former NFL player turned entrepreneur Chase Minnifield join Chef JJ in the kitchen on JUST EATS WITH CHEF JJ airing Saturday, April 6 at 12 p.m. ET. Chef Jernard Wells and vegan Chef Porsche Thomas offer viewers healthy alternatives to Southern inspired dishes on NEW SOUL KITCHEN airing on Sunday, April 7 at 12:30 p.m. ET.

JUST EATS WITH CHEF JJ

On this week’s episode, actress Javicia Leslie and former Washington Redskins defensive back turned entrepreneur Chase Minnifield stop by Chef JJ’s kitchen to cook up late night snacks. On the menu: Sticky Wings with Crunchy Fried String Beans and JJ’s Classic Wedge Salad with Shrimp.

JJ gets the party started with a jalapeno tequila, watermelon juice, mint and lemon cocktail. Rising Hollywood starlet Javicia Leslie talks about splitting her time between Los Angeles and New York, where she’s currently taping two television series “MacGyver” and “The Family Business.” Javicia plays a bartender on “MacGyver” and puts her mixologist skills to the test by creating Old Fashioned cocktails. Chase Minnifield made the 2019 Forbes’ 30 under 30 Sports List for founding the EZ Turn app, which allows property managers and universities to manage student housing turnover.

The conversation heats up when Javicia compares her dating life to cayenne pepper and brown sugar- sweet and spicy. Catch the next episode to hear the trio talk about dating, being your own boss and slaying in the kitchen.
