Heartour Releases Ethereal New Single “Dreams To Come”

The solo project of The Ruse’s drummer and co-founder Jason young, Heartour is back with a new release “Dreams to Come”, and it is the electro-pop meets synthwave track 2019 needed.

After almost a decade of heavy touring schedules and responsibilities to his band The Ruse (touring with Muse can be time-consuming), the feelgood and danceable sounds of Heartour came back with a bang with “Baby Spiders” earlier this year. Now, seemingly confirming Heartour’s revival and, quelling the wants of music lovers around the world, the electro project is back with an equally moreish tune “Dreams to Come’.

The title of the track seems apt, given its whimsical and wistfulness effect, almost mimicking a dreamlike state. The track sees Young’s powerful but silky vocals rise over an amalgam of heavy synths, creating a unique scape as if meant to simultaneously hypnotize and pump up a festival full of people.

“Dreams to Come” is both melodic enough to appeal to a wider, more indie crowd while also managing to maintain a technical eloquence, and an emotive, very personal weight. Let’s hope for more from the solo artist. Listen for yourself below!
