KeepVibesNear – Estranged

Alternative R&B singer-songwriter KeepVibesNear hails from Romford, East London. At the ripe age of 22 his foundations are rooted in his love of English and poetry, where he discovered a passion for freestyling and song writing. Becoming an instrumentalist during this period, he experimented whilst playing the guitar, fine-tuning his own alternative, soul-infused blend of smooth R&B. The stripped-back, raw quality of his vocals makes for a warming and addictive sound.

Ever-enthusiastic when it comes to music, KeepVibesNear collects sounds from a variety of artists on the broadest spectrum, from Stevie Wonder, Chet Baker and Lauryn Hill to John Mayer and Frank Ocean. With romance and relationships at the heart of his lyrical content, KeepVibesNear has self-titled his music as being of an intimate “bedroom vibe”. Almost like the most comfortable place for vulnerability.

Fresh off the back of his most recent album release ‘When Will We Realise?’, KeepVibesNear returns with a minimalist ode to the confusion of love in his latest release ‘Estranged’. Produced by since westbrook, the down beat R&B synth combined with classical poetic sensibility and contemporary sensuality means the bedroom has never felt more reflective. The single explores the often ignored aspects of being victim to male stereotypes whilst actually being very much in love.
