Parisian electro-pop duo SACRE sets things ablaze with “10:00PM FIRE IRAE

SACRE is Hawaii and Sukil, who are full circle creators; they write, sing, produce, and design everything for the project. Today, the Parisian phantasmagoric dance-pop duo shares “10:00PM FIRE IRAE,” an easy-paced pop-inflected house track driven by a syncopated synth beat, undulating percussion, and an aura of sensual mystique.

“10:00PM FIRE IRAE” is the 4th single from SACRE’s upcoming debut LP, Love Revolution, in which each track tells the story of one of 12 characters over the course of 12 hours. The odyssey begins with “07:00PM VAHINE,” which sees Sukil bored at work, hypnotized by a vahine figurine on her desk, daydreaming of sea, sand, and sun. On the other side of the of the city, “08:00PM JUNGLIZATION,” finds Hawaii at a bar, passionately discussing love with the Radio 64 journalist who is interviewing him. Sukil hears him on the radio. The story continues with “09:00PM THE COCONUT BAR,” when Sukil spontaneously jumps in a cab to meet Hawaii at the coconut bar across town. She arrives and the vibe is electric.

In “10:00PM FIRE IRAE,” (translation: fire wrath) It’s now 10PM and Bebe, the star of the evening, appears on stage. The crowd cheers for a moment, then hushes, hypnotized by her dance of fire before she triumphantly sets the whole bar on fire. End of the show.

SACRE burst onto the scene in 2018 with their debut EP, “The Call,” quickly gaining support from Billboard, The Line of Best Fit, Clash, Impose Magazine, Earmilk, etc., along with a cosign from Pharrell Williams. Their follow up single, “Lemonade,” reached #2 on Hype Machine, then their debut EP saw remixes from the likes of Gigamesh (Rhianna, Crystal Fighters), the Victoires de la Musique-nominated Elephanz, as well as cuts from Chopstick & JohnJon, Uppermost, and NTEIBINT.
