Sandro Cavazza signs with Island Records in the US, releases new single “Enemy”

From busking on the streets of Los Angeles to collaborating and touring worldwide alongside Kygo and the late Avicii, pop singer-songwriter Sandro Cavazza is certainly a voice you’ve heard before and a name you won’t forget.

Following the release of “Used To” via Idolator and the remix packages which launched via FORBES, Sandro is thrilled to release his brand new single “Enemy” via Universal Sweden in addition to joining the Island Records roster in the US. The track has already landed on 30 New Music Friday playlists including including Canada, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the US.

Fans can check out the first look of “Enemy” via Billboard or stream it below:

Sandro Cavazza is a Swedish pop singer-songwriter with powerful and soulful vocals that convey tremendous amounts of emotion. From an early age, Sandro surrounded himself with the sounds of pop and rock icons. He grew up listening to Queen, Eagle Eye Cherry, Craig David, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, later writing his first song at the age of seven. He attended Rytmus, Stockholm’s prestigious music school (formerly attended by Tove Lo, Robyn, and Icona Pop) where he refined his skills and love for music. He made the move to Los Angeles after some ups and downs began to change his views on music. It was in LA when he first began to see the fruits of his labor, winning awards with his band, touring with Allen Stone, and meeting Dhani Lennevald who would become his producer and close collaborator.

Through Lennevald he would meet Tim Berg, also known as Avicii, who he would forge not only a collaborative music relationship with but also a genuine friendship. Sandro aided in co-writing and toplining songs across Avicii’s hit 2015 album Stories (“Sunset Jesus,” “Gonna Love Ya”). The two would go on to have a platinum-selling record with “Without You”. The song garnered hundreds of millions of global streams, peaked at #1 on Spotify in 11 different countries, including Sweden and Norway, and #7 globally. Sandro would also have the opportunity to work with Lost Frequencies on “Beautiful Life” in 2016 and on “Happy Now” with Kygo in 2017, which resulted in yet another handful of hits under Sandro’s belt.

Sandro Cavazza is currently working on and writing new music and if his track record is any indicator of his future, you’re going to want to keep your eyes on him and what he has in store.
