Duuple, the Celebrity Challenge App Supported by Neil Patrick Harris, Expands to Asia

Duuple, the challenge-based app where everybody wins, launched in the U.S. this October with the help of celebrity ambassador Neil Patrick Harris. It has now expanded to Asia bringing with it the mission of using social media for social good!

The app, available both on iOS and Android, is making its mark by challenging and empowering its users to use the app to raise funds for charities of their choice! It began with Neil Patrick Harris’ “Embarrassing New Dance Move Challenge” which supported St. Jude Children’s hospital. The expansion marks the next step in their mission toward worldwide change.

CEO, Abby Frimpong, told The Hype Magazine, “After our U.S. launch where we partnered with Neil Patrick Harris in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, we knew we wanted to expand our mission even further. We are thrilled to be launching in Asia starting with South Korea.”

The app features fun challenges like the “Best Selfie” challenge and “Your Best Dance Move” challenge which hope to raise money for charitable causes by sparking a viral movement.

The South Korea launch kicked off this month with a VIP party featuring MC Serina Hwang and brand ambassadors Claudipia, Nalu, Hallie Bradley and Khalid & Lee Seul. Event sponsors include CryptoJoo, Banobagi Plastic Surgery, Wish Formula Cosmetics and Serendi Beauty. The event was held in partnership with East Meets West, a South Korean company committed to bringing Korea and the West together, with a host committee including Seoul Cosmetic Surgery, KWORLD, Be Mused Korea and SUIT MAKE.
