“WU-TANG CLAN: OF MICS AND MEN” CONTINUES AS THEIR UNDERGROUND SINGLE “PROTECT YA NECK” SHOCKS THE MUSIC INDUSTRY ON FRIDAY, MAY 17 AT 9PM ET/PT ON SHOWTIME

As Wu-Tang Clan’s underground rap single “Protect Ya Neck” blows up, Robert ‘RZA’ Diggs starts his search for a record label that will give the group complete creative control. On Friday, May 17 at 9PM ET/PT, the next episode of SHOWTIME’s docu-series WU-TANG CLAN: OF MICS AND MEN looks at the unprecedented deal with Steve Rifkind—owner of Loud Records—that would help the Wu thrive while also pursuing their solo careers.

Despite their success, things were still going on back home in the projects that affected their friends and family—the Wu weren’t immune to it. Nor were they bulletproof.
