Alicia Beale – New Single “Love Letters”

Texas-native and Nashville-based pop singer/songwriter, Alicia Beale has released her brand new single “Love Letters.” It is available now across streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music.

On the track, Beale shares, “This incredibly personal song  was co-written with two of my close friends, Reggie Williams (aka R/LUM/R) and Mike Gossin (Gloriana). As a woman raised in the South I was taught to ‘have grit’ and ‘save face.’ In the darkest of times I’ve felt alone. This story is unfortunately common for many women. We fight, we struggle, we survive toxic, violent, manipulate relationships with the very partners we are supposed to be able to trust completely with our whole selves.

“I want this song to be a PSA and a point of encouragement and empowerment. You can cut the toxicity out of your life, you can work on better mental, physical, and emotional health, you can be ‘selfish’ and take care of yourself. The more I lean into that the more the painful memories become a pile of ash in the rear view.”

Alicia has fronted hundreds of shows where she has captivated crowds all over Music City and North America. From 2008 to 2010, she paid for college with a tip jar, by playing late nights down on lower Broadway in Nashville. In 2010, her self-produced EP, Stronger, quickly caught the attention of Grammy-winning country producer, Garth Fundis. By then, Beale had founded country duo, Autumn Rose, their self-titled EP (Fundis) released in June of 2013. In 2014, she toured with Angelo Petraglia (Kings of Leon), and his wife, Eugene, as a background vocalist in their band, The Jane Shermans.

Then, in late fall, she began crowdfunding for her solo project, where she raised over $20k to bring life her debut record Ignite, which she wrote, recorded, and promoted with friend and producer Mike Gossin (Gloriana), which was nominated for “Best Pop EP” at the 15th annual Independent Music Awards. her song, “New Fling (feat. Kristo Rewlz)” took hope “Best Pop Song” at the IMAs in November 2016 at Lincoln Center in NYC.
