Buffalo-born Techie & Rapper/Producer Tyshawn Releases First Single From Debut EP

Tyshawn is proud to present the lead single from his forthcoming EP, The Comeback Kid, which marks a welcome return for the Buffalo artist.

Having already blessed the world with a sample of his creative talents in the form of 2018 debut single, “Great,” Tyshawn now returns to the fore with a full-length EP. The project shines a light on a more focused artist; a perfectionist who finally feels at ease in his creative world.

The title of the single, “Come Back (Kid),” is a reference to the themes explored throughout the EP, serving more as a chronological concept project of sorts. Tyshawn reflects on some of the events in his own life, through the tale of a kid who sets out on his own with the hope of building a better life for himself and those around him.

The personal attachment to the subject matter adds more depth to the project and with this lead single, we are given the ideal introduction to the kid’s world, as Tyshawn’s trappy yet soulful production bursts into life.

His brand of lyricism on the track comes in a rapid-fire flow but one that is intricately crafted so as not to lose any of the weight of the lyrics themselves. Those lyrics paint the nostalgic picture of a kid who knows there is more to this life than what is currently on the table.

All in all, it is a very strong start to an EP which looks set to deliver the debut release that Tyshawn deserves.
