Michaelson – 100 Grand ft Laza & Ellis Prescott

Press play on Seattle artist Michaelson’s debut single “100 Grand” featuring town fixtures Laza and Ellis Prescott. Sliding over the epic production provided bySinima Beats, Michaelson introduces his flow and cadence to listeners flexing some double-time flow from time to time. Calling on Ellis Prescott for anthem-like chorus and Laza for a smooth second verse, Michaelson shows he isn’t afraid to call on collaborators to make his vision come to life. Recorded and mixed by Milo Eubank at Lost Boy Studio, “100 Grand” shows influence from Seattle legends Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, as Michaelson himself studied under the two at their artist development program “The Residency.” Now is the perfect time to find a new artist you love and Michaelson might just be the rapper for you. Stay tuned for more new music from this up and coming star and for now hit play on “100 Grand” now available on all digital streaming platforms.

More Information on “100 Grand”

“100 Grand” was a two and a half year process, it took a couple different forms. Jake Crocker recorded and mixed the original version, which was more of a rapping centered track with 3 verses. Once Ellis and I heard Laza’s verse, we saw the track being better centered and more marketable if we went more melodic with the delivery. The official version that is coming out was recorded and mixed by Milo Eubank at Lost Boy Studio. The beat was produced by Sinima Beats. The cover-art concept came from myself, but was actually put together by a member of my team Darrah James”
