Exclusive: Kimber Lee Signs A Long-Term IMPACT Wrestling Deal & Is Studying To Be A Vet Tech

IMPACT Wrestling has been in the news a lot lately, especially with its recent Slammiversary pay-per-view revealing some big new signings to the company. Among those big signing announcements from the week of Slammiversary were The Good Brothers (“Machine Gun” Karl Anderson and “The Big LG” Doc Gallows), Brian Myers, EC3, Eric Young and Heath Miller, all of whom prior wrestling champions.

Prior to Slammiversary, IMPACT had yet another big signing in the form of Knockouts Division competitor Kimber Lee. A former champion in numerous companies before coming to IMPACT, Kimber Lee is a rare “princess” within the wrestling world. The accomplished performer also happens to be pulling off the rare feat of competing for a top wrestling company — check out IMPACT on Tuesday nights at 8:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM CST on AXS TV — while also pursuing a degree to become a licensed veterinary technician. As embedded below, I had the pleasure of speaking with Kimber Lee herself about her life in and out of wrestling by phone on behalf of The Hype Magazine.

Among the topics Kimber Lee and I discussed:
– Signing a long-term deal with IMPACT Wrestling
– IMPACT’s other big recent signings
– Studying to be a vet tech
– On other IMPACT wrestlers also pursuing college studies
– Goals as an IMPACT performer
– Being married to another wrestler
– Who the most underrated wrestler on the IMPACT roster is
– Whether she and her husband ever talk wrestling when off the road
– Whether she has pets, given how much she travels
– Her feelings about Starbucks and grunge as a Seattle area native
