EDX Celebrates 500 Episodes of No Xcuses with Stunning Livestream and New Single ‘Indian Summer’

Very few artists in electronic music can lay claim to the career longevity and sustained success as EDX can. After almost three decades at the forefront of the international house music scene, the Grammy-nominated Swiss-Italian artist and Sirup Music label boss has racked up hundreds of millions of streams, signed and released dozens of platinum-selling records, and has performed countless headline shows at the most distinguished festivals and parties on the planet.

Now, almost exactly 10 years since he launched his weekly ‘No Xcuses’ radio show back in 2010, the prolific hit-maker adds another remarkable accolade to his never-ending résumé, as he celebrates the landmark 500th episode of the internationally celebrated broadcast.

On Monday, September 21, EDX celebrated this astonishing milestone with an extra special livestream performance from the stunning coastal town of Positano, Italy, where he performed one hour of the finest electronic music in front of one of the most iconic and beautiful backdrops on the European continent. Premiered exclusively by Beatport on Twitch, fans can now enjoy the stream in its entirety again here:

Speaking about the No Xcuses 500 livestream event, EDX commented:

“I absolutely love making music and touring the world, but my No Xcuses radio show is something that I’m also incredibly proud of. Since I launched it back in 2010, I never thought it would be as well received as it still is, and to reach a milestone of 500 shows is absolutely amazing. The livestream from Positano was the perfect way to celebrate this broadcast, and a day that I’ll never forget”.

To mark this milestone event further, EDX has also just dropped his brand new single Indian Summer. Out now via his long-standing imprint Sirup Music, Indian Summer sees EDX explore a much more peaceful timbre than we’ve become accustomed to of late, capitalising on his diverse production credentials to deliver one of his most beautiful records to date. A harmonious and tranquil cut tempered by soft piano chords and playful refrains, this is EDX at his very best.
