HATE DRUGS Release New Video “Night II (Divine Providence)”

Indie-rock band HATE DRUGS have released a music video for their song “Night II (Divine Providence).” The single is from HATE DRUGS’ latest EP, Ponderosa, which was released on July 10th. This soft track draws images of reflection that are relatable to remind us of how quickly life changes. The fun lyric video was shot by the band, directed and edited by Keaton Punch.

The video features playful film of the HATE DRUGS loading up their van and going on a drive. The chemistry amongst the group and their shared easygoing, positive vibes are on display. The single is from the band’s newest EP, Ponderosa. In February 2020, the group spent a weekend at a cabin in the Sierra Nevada mountains where they wrote and recorded the entirety of the EP.

“These songs were born in the warmth of an old wooden cabin, as we watched the snow softly float into the arms of the giant mossy pines outside. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for us, and everyone, really.” – lead singer, David Caploe
