The Hunna’s Ryan Potter & Jack Metcalfe On The “I’d Rather Die Than Let You In” Album & More

Since launching in 2012, 300 Entertainment has proudly remained, “A New Independent.” Independently funded, owned and operated, the company groomed, grew, and galvanized a new generation of superstars across hip-hop, rock, pop, electronic, alternative, and country. By 2019 its development-focused and digital-centric disruption had quietly elevated the brand to the forefront of both music and culture, reaching over 40 billion streams to date and 8 Grammy nominations and more than 100 RIAA-certified gold and platinum (including multi-platinum) singles. 300 Entertainment’s talent includes Young Thug, Gunna, Cheat Codes, Tee Grizzley, Famous Dex, Highly Suspect, Megan Thee Stallion, Maggie Lindemann, Fetty Wap, Drax Project and YNW Melly.

Another one of 300 Entertainment’s stand-out artists is the UK-based quartet known as The Hunna. Back in May, The Hunna — comprised of singer Ryan Potter, guitarist Daniel Dorney, bassist Junate Angin and drummer Jack Metcalfe — announced a new album, I’d Rather Die Than Let You In, as due out on October 2nd. The quartet has been releasing a new track every month leading up to this album release. I’d Rather Die Than Let You In is full of notables, including appearances by blink-182’s FTravis Barker, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, Twenty One Pilots’Josh Dun, and Goldfinger’s John Feldmann.

On September 10, 2020, I had the pleasure of speaking with The Hunna’s Ryan Potter and Jack Metcalfe, as embedded below. More on The Hunna can be found via www.thehunnaofficial.com, www.facebook.com/thehunnaband and www.twitter.com/THEHUNNABAND.
