Feux Delivers Sentimental Single ‘Let’s Get Lost’ Ahead of Album Debut

Ahead of the release of his debut album, Feux has unveiled a moving video for ‘Let’s Get Lost’, his collaboration with London-based artist JP Rose. Directed by Tom Reeves, the video aims to raise awareness of mental health issues, painting a meaningful narrative of how the comforting presence of a friend can alleviate mental pressures. Released in partnership with mental health collective The Lost Bond Project, Feux and JP have launched a fundraiser alongside the music video, with proceeds going towards mental health support for youth in the UK.

Produced by Kxmel and co-produced by Feux and JP, ‘Let’s Get Lost’ is a hard-hitting, soulful anthem, reminding its listener that they’re never alone. Released during a period of nationwide isolation, Feux and JP Rose touch on the feelings of hopelessness that have become familiar to many, highlighting important issues with their thought-provoking lyrics and conscious bars.

‘Let’s Get Lost’ is the third single to be released ahead of Feux’s debut album ‘Pure Nine’, a smooth, mindful project depicting his journey as a teenager living in London. The album draws on the number nine, which has inhabited the artist’s subconscious since birth. The project represents a translation of introspective narration and interpretation of life in its purest musical form. The piece triggers poignant questions and offers reassurance, essentially ‘Pure Nine’ is Feux fully realising his artistic potential.

Combining cohesive flows, mind-easing melodies and conscious songwriting, Feux’s music offers a powerful projection of life through a nineteen-year old’s eyes. With an honest creativity and a drive to raise awareness about pressing issues in society, Feux is ready to change the face of modern hip-hop.

Look out for Feux’s debut album, which is set to release Friday the 9th of October.
