Klassik Frescobar Drops the “Looking Good” Remix

Jamaican-American artist Klassik Frescobar, whose Soca career recently started in 2019 is ascending to new heights.

The multi-talented singjay who was born in New York and raised in Kingston, Jamaica is currently one of the hottest Soca acts in Florida. Attributed to his strong social media presence he has amassed over 3 million views between twitter and TikTok.

Klassik Frescobar (given name) Kamaal Burrowes says his success is due to “versatile music style”. His commanding and high energy vocals are evident of the Dancehall and Hip-Hop influence which he fuses with Soca.

In the summer of last year, an opportunity to get on a Soca riddim was presented to him. Unbeknownst to Klassik Frescobar, his breakout record “Boom” on the Fuego Riddim would change the trajectory of his career. Over the past year, he has recorded a number of successful singles and traveled within the U.S and the Caribbean to perform.

2020 came with the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic but that hasn’t stopped Klassik Frescobar from remaining active on the Soca scene and creating music. He released “Looking Good” which went viral across various social media platforms due to its accompanying challenge. Klassik Frescobar’s music has kept fans engaged, active, and hopeful in the midst of the pandemic. Due to the positive reception of the record, Klassik Frescobar has collaborated with Soca artists Kisha, Trinidad Ghost, Marzville, and Trinidad Madman for the “Looking Good” remix.

Klassik’s Lead single is a blend of multiple Caribbean artists. The Song “Looking Good Remix” features major artists from all over The Caribbean. Piggybacking off its viral success on twitter and TikTok, Klassik recruited artists: Kisha from Saint Lucia, Trinidad Ghost from Trinidad, Marzville from Barbados and Trinidad Madman from Trinidad to bolster the growth of the record. The high tempo and addictive chorus have created a dance sensation throughout The Caribbean.
