Maejor Performs New Single, Life, On MelodyVR

Grammy nominated artist, MAEJOR performed his new single LIFE live for the first time exclusively on MelodyVR, as part of the music platform’s acclaimed Live from LA series. Fans can now watch his performance ON DEMAND via the free MelodyVR app (VR headsets are not required to take part in this immersive concert experience).

Maejor is an American music producer, songwriter and recording artist from Detroit. His mission is to heal through music. Inspired by sound therapy, Maejor is the first Pop artist to release music at a frequency of 432 HZ tuning, which is considered a healing frequency. His vision is to go beyond recording and producing a feel-good track. In addition, the music style is connected with his Jamaican roots and has a little bit of an island vibe. His song I Love You Ft. Greeicy, from his album Frequency, has over 1.3 million streams on Spotify and over 10 Million views on Vevo. In addition, he has written and produced songs for several artists such as Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Wiz Khalifa, Tiesto, Iggy Azalea, and Martin Garrix.

About his MelodyVR performance, Maejor tells us, “I have a VR headset myself and I am always amazed by how real the experience feels. The best part is, on MelodyVR, you don’t need a headset to watch. Anyone with a smartphone can have an immersive experience through the app,” said Maejor. “So for me, it just made sense to perform the “Frequency” experience with live instruments tuned at the 432hz frequency for the first time in this way. I am truly grateful to MelodyVR for giving me the opportunity to experience this with my fans and I am really excited to inspire through music in the future.”

MelodyVR is the leading virtual reality platform providing a premium, front-row-seat, backstage-access experience to music fans around the world. Exclusive VR performances across genres currently available on the MelodyVR app include Post Malone, Lewis Capaldi, Blake Shelton, Wiz Khalifa, Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, Fall Out Boy, Julia Michaels, KISS, The Chainsmokers, and more. Performances can be viewed for free via smartphones and VR headsets.
