Let Man Loose Announce ‘To the Moon and Back’ Online Tour

In a period of time where unnecessary travel is banned and music venues are indeterminately closed, Hull based rockers Let Man Loose plan to transport fans on a journey ‘To the Moon and Back’ with their week long, virtual ‘online tour’.

Having gained radio traction from the likes of BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Planet Rock, as well as playing sold out shows at renowned venues including Rough Trade Nottingham, the future for Let Man Loose seemed promising.

However, after being forced to cancel their 2020 tour due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Let Man Loose have refused to be swayed by the UK governments suggestion that musicians “retrain”, instead utilising their creativity to redefine the pragmatics of a ’tour’ in the digital age.

The ’To the Moon and Back’ tour is set is set to run for a course of seven days, kicking off on the 21st November, with an alternate version of their track ’The Acid Test’, followed by a variety of interactive experiences for fans over subsequent days, including a giveaway, a podcast and even a livestream from Eric’s bedroom studio, which will see the band perform a mixture of classic and new tracks.

Furthermore, after the success of their latest EP, ‘Vol. 3’ and it’s singles, which received rave reviews from outlets including Earmilk, XS Noise and Soundsphere, Let Man Loose are set to release new live versions of two of it’s most popular tracks, ’The Acid Test’ and ’Victory Lap’ as a double A side single on the final day of the tour.

Taken from a recent session at Young Thugs Studio, and with production by Jonny Hooker, the new release, aptly titled ‘Young Thugs Studio’, brings a raw and frenetic energy to the tracks that should satisfy any fans who have been pining to see the band live.

These recordings are accompanied by live session videos, which not only enable a perfect opportunity for fans to get accustomed to new bassist Eric Dimmack, as well as Luke Scruton who is filling in for Jamie on guitar, but also act as a well needed remedy to counter the impossibility of musicians performing live in any traditional sense for the foreseeable future.
