Shy Riddick feat. Tynisha Keli, ‘How U Feel (Remix)’

Back Story – Meet Shy Riddick who is ready to elevate R&B to new heights, heights where his candid musical storytelling is therapeutic to listeners. Prior to delivering honesty through harmonies, the Delaware-native with choir roots often used his writing talents to personally rewrite and revamp songs. By his high school years, the tenor created his own signature sound and garnered the attention of Grammy-winning producer Troy Taylor who became his music mentor. Their initial meeting was unconventional and fueled by Shy’s grit that boldly led him to reach out via MySpace to “every producer on the back of his favorite CDs.” While other producers snubbed his efforts, Troy Taylor gave Shy homework and constructive criticism that ultimately shaped his musical future. The hands-on training also revealed the true inner workings of the music industry, something that’d prove integral later on.

Under the musician’s watchful eye, Shy’s career expounded and led him to a decade of behind-the-scenes stints where the crooner with hopes to become a mega multihyphenate like Diddy, excelled at working alongside artists and bigwigs as a singer and creative director. His collaborative work runs the gamut from Trey Songz, Keyshia Cole, Kehlani, Tamar Braxton, Jordin Sparks and Elijah Blake, to Wardell Malloy, BMI Urban’s Vice President.
