Epic Games is Debuting a One-of-a-Kind Concert With Grammy-nominated DJ Kaskade

Epic Games is once again debuting a one-of-a-kind concert, and this time, the artist is Grammy-nominated DJ, Kaskade. In the past year, Epic has hosted concerts with superstars like Travis Scott, J Balvin, and Anderson .Paak to highlight amazing artists from around the world. The Kaskade concert will air in Epic Games’ Fortnite and Houseparty, and be set in the world of Rocket League (another Epic Games property). Epic has been taking the virtual concert experience to the next level, and the approach is another step further in gaming and music integration.

Kaskade concert details:

  • Concert airs 3/26 at 8PM ET and reruns on 3/27 at 9AM ET and 2PM ET for Fortnite x Rocket League’s global audience.

  • Concert will air across both Fortnite and Houseparty, potentially reaching hundreds of millions of users.

  • There will be heightened production elements and immersive story-driven visuals in XR, transporting viewers into the world of Fortnite/Rocket League. Kaskade will travel between Stadiums, drive Rocket League cars, and arrive at the new Neon Fields for a festival-style performance.

  • Kaskade will be performing inside Rocket League’s universe, tying Rocket League and Fortnite together in a brand new way during the show.

  • To view the concert in Fortnite simply squad up and enter Party Royale in the game with your friends.

  • To view in Houseparty just open the video chat app at the concert date and the concert will play in the video player – watch along with up to 8 friends.

Music partnership details:

  • Epic continues to invest heavily in music and collaborations with cutting-edge artists from around the world.

  • Recently, Rocket League took music integration a step further by introducing its first-ever music-themed season with Grammy-nominated producer Kaskade as the headliner and adding a brand new music in-game customization item, Player Anthems.

  • Kaskade also “took over” an in-game radio station for Fortnite, Radio Yonder, on January 20th and has been incredibly popular with players.

  • This partnership with Kaskade was brought to life with record label Monstercat and will culminate with these upcoming Llama-Rama and Party Royale events, which will have elements that touch across Fortnite, Rocket League, and Houseparty.
