Dez Money On His Forthcoming 3rd Studio Album, Producing His Own Music Videos & More

Dez Money grew up in a home filled with music and spent a good part of his life on tour as the son of multi-platinum recording artist Eddie Money. So it may come as no surprise that he was inspired and has become a force in his own right as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer. “Lost” is the latest release from a series of new songs and videos coming from Money this year.

Take Me Down, as released in 2015, was the debut full-length from Dez Money. It was followed by his sophomore album Blue, which was put out in 2020. Between Take Me Down and Blue, Money was also one of the stars of the AXS TV reality series Real Money, which chronicled the Money family’s life at home and on tour; he was notably the composer of the theme song for Real Money.

On April 20, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Dez Money via Zoom, as embedded below. More on Money and his forthcoming album for Universal Music can be found here, here and here.
