DMX, Rapper and Actor Dies at Age 50

Iconic rapper and actor DMX has died, his family announced in a statement. He was 50.

“We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50-years-old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days,” family’s statement read in part.

“Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end,” the family continued. “He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him.”

The artist had been hospitalized since last week when he suffered a heart attack at his home in New York, according to his longtime attorney, Murray Richman. (CNN)

Much will be said and discussed about the amazing person that many revered and admired for his gifts to the culture…I think the music speaks all that needs be said…he made forever music and he will never be forgotten.
