Jeezy & Jeannie Mai Partner With Tony Robbins to Gift Bicycles to Atlanta Youth

After having a fairytale wedding, newlyweds Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins (recording artist, entrepreneur & philanthropist) & Jeannie Mai-Jenkins (Emmy Award winning co-host of The Real) partnered with The Tony Robbins Foundation alongside Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation to gift over 500 bicycles to children and young adults in Atlanta. Taking place at the historic Clark Atlanta University, the giveaway was preceded by a rally which included motivational speeches from Jeezy as well as Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance-Bottoms.

Giving back to the community that raised Jeezy has always been a priority to him and the choice to give away bicycles was a personal one. “The only time I felt free was when I was in motion. That’s your chance to see where you want to go in life because if you stay still, that’s where you’ll stay.” Jeezy continues “If you’ve got a vision you can achieve it, just like you can ride from one street to the next, you can do that with life, too!”

In addition to Keisha Lance-Bottoms, the community giveaway was also attended by President of CAU Dr. George French, Hank Stewart, Senator Tonya Anderson, Bernice King, Karyn Greer, Xernona Clayton, City Councilmen Andre Dickens, Ambassador Andrew Young & more.

As an entrepreneur, new business ventures for Jeezy include multiple real estate properties, Defiance Fuel Fitness Water, a partnership with American Cut Steakhouse and his ongoing partnership with global spirits brand Tequila Avion. Jeezy has been no stranger to the fashion world. With his “dare to be different” mentality, he is not afraid of a bold print or a bright color making a statement with everything he wears. Jeezy believes that whether you dress up, or dress down, as long as you feel good, you will look good. He has cultivated lifelong relationships with worldwide fashion houses such as Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Tom Ford, and Dolce & Gabbana. Jeezy launched his charity Street Dreamz Foundation over 10 years ago to consistently be involved in improving the lives of those less fortunate in the city of Atlanta. For his continuous community service efforts, he was awarded the Phoenix Award from the city of Atlanta–the highest honor an individual or group can receive from the Mayor of Atlanta, this year, he ran the Peachtree Road Race, a half marathon alongside the Mayor of Atlanta to raise money for his foundation and the city of Atlanta’s scholarship fund.
