The Memphis Rapper’s Flossy New Video Comes from Dum & Dummer 2, His Billboard Top 10-Charting Collab Album With Paper Route EMPIRE CEO Young Dolph

With three Billboard Top 20 albums in the books before his 24th birthday, Key Glock is the type of guy who gets things done. Touting his myriad accomplishments on a chilly Memphis evening, Glock shares his latest video “Move Around.” Casually annihilating a minimalist instrumental, Glock methodically proves that he was born different, with the mentality and personality to conquer the rap game: “Diamonds hittin’, diamonds dancin’ like James Brown/Yeah, I’m young and rich, and I’m Black and I’m proud,” spits Glock. In the video, Glock shows off his ice as he delivers his rhymes in front of his signature Bart Simpson-yellow Lambo truck. “Move Around” is a highlight track from Dum & Dummer 2, the acclaimed and successful collaborative album from Key Glock and his Paper Route EMPIRE boss and frequent sparring partner Young Dolph.

Debuting at #8 on the Billboard 200, Dum & Dummer 2 generated nearly 36k sales equivalent units across platforms and scored the fifth-biggest streaming debut on Spotify during its first week of release. Earlier this month, the album received a glowing review from Pitchfork, who awarded the album a 7.5 score and cemented Young Dolph & Key Glock as a “once-in-a-generation” rap duo, akin to 8Ball & MJG or Method Man & Redman, and “one of the most in-sync alliances in the genre today.” Dum & Dummer 2 is the duo’s second Top 10 album, following the original Dum and Dummer, which debuted at #8 in 2019, and Dolph’s third Top 10, following August’s #4-peaking Rich Slave.

Dum and Dummer 2 finds Dolph & Glock operating at a high level of craftsmanship, charisma, and luxury. With artwork that references MTV’s most famous duo, Beavis & Butthead, Dum & Dummer 2 establishes the two rappers (and cousins) as two halves of the same brain, each seamlessly picking up threads and finishing lines that the other leaves off. With production from PRE’s own Bandplay, among others, Dum & Dummer 2 is home to a series of standout singles, including the hauntingly flex-heavy“Case Closed,” the soulful winter-weather celebration “Aspen,” the classily ratchet “Sleep With The Roaches,“ the ice cold opening track “Penguins,” and “RAIN RAIN,” which racked up over 2.2 million views on YouTube in just one week.

In March, Dolph announced the #DumAndDummer2AlbumChallenge on his Instagram. The rapper announced that he would give away $25,000 each week for the next four weeks to the winners (one winner per week).
